Standstill began with a simple yet terrifying idea – what would happen if 90% of people in the world suddenly stopped moving? They were alive, paralyzed, and prisoners in their own bodies. That was a very dark beginning, but then I wondered where you could go from there. What kinds of people would be left, and what would the world become? We all have some experience with apocalyptic fiction – it’s everywhere in many forms. However, it doesn’t always include all the crazy things and real dangers that could take place.  This second issue continues the story of Mason and Luna as they travel across America searching for a haven.
